I am selling a genuine Papal document on vellum in the name of his Holiness
Pope  Gregory XVI
Original authentic manuscript Papal Brief (Breve in Latin) from the papacy of Pope Gregory XVI written on vellum in Latin and dated February 19, 1838.
Size of document: 17" x 5 2/3". Signature of Cardinal De Gregorio at bottom right corner. His secretary penned the Brief. Written in a beautiful script.
I am not able to read Latin, so I cannot tell what the Brief is all about.
Condition: The Brief is in mint condition, with the original red wax seal on verso.
This is a great opportunity to own a piece of Catholic history as well as a unique conversation piece.
