    Description

    Relic, 1st Class, St. Margaret Mary Alacoque, Baroque Styled Reliquary.
    The relic of St. Margaret is contained in a very early silver oval fancy theca.
    The theca is housed in a lovely Baroque styled reliquary with a large oval viewing chamber.  The reliquary stands 9" tall with excellent gold plate.
    I could not open the theca case without damaging the integrity of the relic because if its age, but personally knowing the provenance of this relic, I am certain  the threads and seal are perfectly intact.
