Strange Turnings, that's me, I hand crafted this  Exotic Cocobolo Rosewood Knitting Loom Hook with Brass Tip and Mother-of-Pearl finial inlay

This hand loom hook is 5  1/2" long overall with the Cocobolo Rosewood handle 3 7/8" long and about 3/4" in diameter at its widest.
The hand cut, polished and honed  1/8" diameter brass hook extends about 1 5/8" " from the handle.
You never know what the inside of Cocobolo Rosewood will yield when you turn it on the lathe. This cut of Cocobolo Rosewood has a variety of color  with chestnut browns, black, mild burnt orange splashes,  all with lovely swirling figure and character.  The  finial is my signature 1/4" diameter natural Iridescent Mother-of-Pearl inlay.  The thicker handle makes loom knitting much easier on the hand and reduces fatigue compared to  all of the commercially made cheap plastic hooks.
I believe that your fiber tools should be just as beautiful as the creations you make with them!
